Privacy Policy for Image Tools
Last updated: September 25, 2026
Image Tools respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Image Tools Android application.
1. Information We Collect
Image Tools is designed to process images directly on your device.
We do not require users to create an account, and we do not intentionally collect personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, or account credentials through the app.
Images and Files
When you select images for processing, Image Tools may access those images only for the features you choose, such as:
- resizing images
- compressing images
- converting image formats
- batch processing
- removing image metadata
- background removal
Selected images are processed locally on your device and are not uploaded to our servers.
Processed images are saved only to locations selected or permitted by you on your device.
2. Advertising
Image Tools may display advertisements provided by Google AdMob.
The Google Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect or process certain information, including:
- IP address, which may be used to estimate general location
- app interactions, such as app launches, taps, and ad interactions
- diagnostic and performance information
- device or advertising identifiers
This information may be used for advertising, analytics, fraud prevention, security, and related purposes. Google states that data collected by the Google Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit.
Google may process this information in accordance with its own privacy policies.
3. Analytics and Diagnostics
Image Tools may use third-party services for app analytics, crash reporting, performance monitoring, or advertising measurement.
These services may collect information such as:
- device type
- operating system version
- app version
- crash information
- performance information
- app usage and interactions
- device identifiers
This information is used to improve application stability, performance, and user experience.
4. Permissions
Image Tools may request permissions or use Android system components necessary to allow you to select, process, and save images.
Where possible, Image Tools uses Android's system file or photo selection tools instead of requesting broad access to your device storage.
The app does not access files unrelated to the functionality you choose to use.
5. Image Metadata
Image Tools may allow you to remove metadata from images.
This may include information such as:
- camera information
- image creation date
- GPS/location metadata
- EXIF information
Metadata is processed locally on your device.
6. Background Removal
The background removal feature uses image-processing or machine-learning functionality to identify the foreground and background of an image.
When this functionality is performed locally, your image remains on your device and is not sent to our servers.
7. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information.
We may rely on third-party service providers, such as Google AdMob, which may collect or process information independently in accordance with their own privacy policies.
The Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and share certain device, interaction, diagnostic, and identifier data for advertising, analytics, and fraud-prevention purposes.
8. Data Security
We take reasonable steps to design Image Tools in a way that limits unnecessary collection of user information.
Image processing is intended to take place locally whenever possible.
Any information transmitted by third-party services is subject to the security practices of those service providers.
9. Children's Privacy
Image Tools is not specifically directed toward children.
We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children through the application.
If you believe information relating to a child has been collected improperly, please contact us.
10. Third-Party Services
Image Tools may use third-party services, including:
Google AdMob
Used to display advertisements and support app monetization.
Google Play Services
May be used for Android platform functionality and related services.
Additional third-party services may be added in future versions. If their use materially changes how user data is handled, this Privacy Policy will be updated.
11. Your Choices
Depending on your device and region, you may be able to control:
- advertising personalization
- advertising identifiers
- app permissions
- consent preferences
- image and file access
You can manage app permissions through your Android device settings.
You may also reset or delete your Android advertising ID through your device's privacy settings.

We may update this Privacy Policy when:
- new app features are introduced
- third-party services change
- legal or platform requirements change
- our data-handling practices change
The updated version will be published on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
